Terms of Service

These terms govern the website design, hosting, and ongoing care services ("Services") we provide to you ("Client"). By accepting them at checkout or by paying an invoice, you agree to the following.

1. What we provide

• Design and build of a website for your shop, to the scope agreed at sign-up (typically a multi-page site).
• Hosting, security, and uptime for the live site for as long as your plan is active.
• Ongoing care under your plan: edits, updates, and support as described in the plan you selected.

2. Fees and billing

• Setup fee (if applicable): a one-time charge to design and build the site, due before launch.
• Monthly plan: a recurring subscription billed monthly in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). Your card is charged automatically on each renewal date until you cancel.
• Prices are as shown at sign-up. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice; your current rate is honored until then.
• All fees are in U.S. dollars. Failed or declined payments may result in the site being paused until the balance is resolved.

3. Term and cancellation

• The monthly plan continues month to month and renews automatically.
• You may cancel anytime with written notice (email is fine). Cancellation stops future charges; we do not refund the current or past billing periods.
• On cancellation, hosting and ongoing care end. The live site may be taken offline unless you have purchased a buyout (see Section 4).

4. Ownership

• You own your content (text, logos, photos, and business information you provide).
• The website build, code, and design remain ours while you are on a monthly plan, which includes the right to host and serve it for you.
• If you purchase the one-time "Own It" buyout, full ownership of the site files transfers to you and you are responsible for your own hosting thereafter.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information and any content or approvals we need to build and maintain the site in a timely way.
• You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content and claims you ask us to publish.

6. Guarantee and refunds

• We revise the design until you approve it; the setup fee is refundable if you are not satisfied with the initial design before launch.
• Monthly plan fees are not refundable once a billing period has begun.

7. Limitation of liability

We provide the Services with reasonable care but do not guarantee specific business results, search rankings, or traffic. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior three months.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes take effect on your next renewal after we post them here.
